2 1/2 cups raw broccoli, cut into florets
1 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
1 tbsp chopped garlic
1 1/2 tsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp lemon zest
salt & pepper to taste
1. Bring 1 - 2 inches water to a boil in large saucepan fitted with a steamer attachment. Add broccoli, cover and steam until crisp tender, about 3 1/2 minutes.
2. Meanwhile, heat oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. Add garlic and cook until fragrant and just starting to brown. Scrape garlic into large bowl, add lemon juice, zest and salt & pepper.
3. Add broccoli into the lemon mixture and stir to coat.
4. Serve warm!
